Ronald George HOPKINS

Ronald George Hopkins passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in London, Ontario. He will be remembered for his warm smile, playful spirit, and integrity. A proud electrician and member of IBEW Local 120, Ron earned the respect of his colleagues. He enjoyed gardening, reading, woodworking, and his HO-scale model railway, and loved spending time at Lighthouse Cove near Bayfield with family and friends. Ron was a committed Freemason, initiated into Kilwinning Lodge No. 64 in 1978, and later served as Worshipful Master in 2000. He was predeceased by his second wife, Carol Sheehan, his partner, Jean Wanless, and his parents, Norman and Edna Hopkins. Ron is survived by his first wife, Kathleen Davison, his son, Trevor Hopkins, his granddaughter, Emery Hopkins, and her fiancé, Liam McDonagh, his sister, Beverly Bissette, his niece, Tamara Blaney, and her husband, Kevin, and his nephew, Jeff Beacham, and his wife, Karen. A Masonic Service will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, followed by a memorial service in the funeral home's chapel on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
