Robert "Bob" Edwards

Robert John Verdun Edwards passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife Ruth, son Chris, daughter Kim and her husband Steve, and grandchildren Hannah, Donovan, Claire, Alex, and Audrey. He is also survived by his siblings Evelyn and Cam and his wife Jane. Bob was predeceased by his parents Verd and Zada Edwards, and his in-laws Lloyd and Blanche Little. Born and raised in Wardsville, Bob spent 30 years working at Bell Canada. He was a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, and loyal friend. Bob will be remembered for his love of the Detroit Tigers, his handiwork, and his generosity. In his memory, the family asks that you cheer for the Tigers, take your family out for dinner, and insist on paying the bill.
