Rev. Gail SCHNARR

Rev. Gail Schnarr passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital in London on July 21, 2026, at the age of 86. She was a loving mother to Corey Schnarr and his wife Jennifer, and a step-mother to Phillip Schnarr, Debbie Brooks, and Dwight Schnarr. Rev. Schnarr was also a proud grandmother to Julia, Allison, and Shania, and a devoted cat mom to Kelly. She was predeceased by her parents, Nelson and Rilla Nichols, and her husband, Lorne Schnarr. Rev. Schnarr had a distinguished career, working for the City of London for 35 years, and serving as an ordained minister in the Spiritualist Church, where she officiated numerous weddings, baptisms, and Celebrations of Life. She was a long-time member of the Metropolitan United Church Choir and held various roles in the community, including Akela for the 3rd London Cub Pack. Friends and family will gather at Metropolitan United Church to pay their respects on July 29, followed by a memorial service and reception. Interment will take place in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery, Mitchell. Memorial donations may be made to Metropolitan United Church or the Humane Society through LockhartFuneralHome.com.
