Phyllis Marie COOK

Phyllis Marie Cook passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on December 14, 1941, in London, Ontario, Phyllis grew up on McKenzie Avenue in Old South with her parents, Norman and Mildred Cook, and siblings, Don, Jack, Bill, and Barbara. She attended Tecumseh Public School and South Secondary School, later joining Sun Life before helping her family with their business. Phyllis then spent 25 years working at Canada Post, earning awards for her exceptional work, and also completed a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Western Ontario as a night school student. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, David, Susan, Ann, Kim, Cathy, Nancy, Timothy, Sam, Christine, and Carolyn, as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews. Phyllis enjoyed various activities, including walking, fashion, and family gatherings. A funeral service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church on August 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family would like to thank the team at Southbridge London East for their care and suggests donations to the London Humane Society, Celiac Canada, or a charity of choice in lieu of flowers.
