Petronella Maria Tessel

Petronella Maria Tessel of London, Ontario, passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on February 14, 1944, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Petronella was predeceased by her parents, Peter Braakman and Nel Braakman. She is survived by her husband, Nico Tessel; her daughter, Natasja Israels (Marty); her grandsons, Liam and Evan; her son, Patrick Tessel (Sue) and their children, Matias and Melia; and her son, Quido Tessel (Tetyana). Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM at St. George Parish, located at 1164 Commissioners Rd W, London, ON N6K1C7. In her memory, donations may be made to Covenant House.
