Orville "OJ" JOHNSTON

Orville 'OJ' Johnston passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 83, with his wife Antoinette by his side. Born in 1943 in La Reine, Québec, he was the son of the late Eric and Thérèse Johnston. Orville is survived by his wife of 60 years, Antoinette, and their children Lynn, predeceased by her husband John Ahlers, Nicole, and Marc, married to Mary. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan Ahlers, Alexander, and Connor Johnston, as well as his siblings Arlene, married to Bernard Fleming, Jo-Anne, and David, married to Shelley. Orville was predeceased by his sister June Goddard's husband Gray. He dedicated 33 years to CN in Capreol, Ontario, and later retired to London with Antoinette. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on August 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a short visitation prior and interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
