Nalini MASSEY

Nalini Massey passed away peacefully, with family by her side at University Hospital on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in her 99th year, at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife for 57 years of the late Cecil Prakash Massey, who predeceased her in 2014. She is survived by her loving children, Anita, Sangeeta, and Somer Massey, and their spouses, Keith Rodrigues, Raj Rajan, and Rita Massey. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason and Elliot Rodrigues, Rageeta and Modit Rajan, and Smritaa and Shraeyas Massey, as well as her great-grandchildren, Hannah and Nicholas Rodrigues and Malachi Hulley. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings, Vasant Canaran, Mohini Venkatesulu, and Jayant Canaran, and was predeceased by her brother, Hemant Canaran, in 2025. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at University Hospital for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at the Church of St. Jude, located at 1537 Adelaide Street North at Fanshawe Park Road, on Saturday, July 4 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Church of St. Jude would be appreciated.
