Michael Callaghan McCuaig

Michael Callaghan McCuaig of St. Thomas passed away at the University Hospital on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the age of 55. He was the loved son of Mary Lou (Callaghan) McCuaig and the late Robert Ernest McCuaig. Michael was the dear brother of Meredith McCuaig (Asviny) and a loved nephew of Ron Callaghan (Cathy), Joyce Aboussafy (late Morley), and Karen Kane (Brian). Born in Warren, Michigan on August 30, 1970, Michael formerly worked as a manager in information technology. A memorial service for Michael will be held at St. Hilda's St. Luke's Anglican Church on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., with visitation prior at the church from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place, with private interment of ashes in Holy Angels' Cemetery. Donations may be made to the New St. Thomas Animal Shelter or Camping 4 Kids (Elgin Children's Foundation).
