Mary Colleen Koziol

Mary Colleen Koziol (née Andruch) passed away on August 23, 2026, at Sunrise of Burlington, at the age of 94. She was born in London, Ontario, in 1931. Mary’s career spanned laboratory work, university studies, volunteering, seamstress duties, substitute teaching, and a long tenure in real estate as an agent, broker, appraiser and instructor. She also served as President of the London International Toastmistress Club and was an accomplished musician and dancer. In later years she enjoyed lakeside walks, bird‑watching, good food, hugs, holding hands and singing. She is survived by her daughters Dr. Carol Koziol, Jane (Ken) Arnott, Valarie Koziol (married to Rick Durst in 2017), Ann Marie (Ron) Simone, Andrea Koziol (Thomas Neuspiel), and her sister Josie Reiser, as well as numerous grandchildren and great‑grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John (married 55 years, died 2006), daughter Dr. Natasha Koziol (2013), her father Harrasim, step‑mother Tatiana, mother Nadejda, uncle Alexander, aunt Olga, aunt Harrepina, uncle Andre, sister Tanya, cousin Olga, and infant son Andre. Cremation has been completed. Friends and family are invited to gather in her honour at The Springs Restaurant on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
