The family of Martin Vanrooy of London, Ontario, announces his passing on October 1, 2026. Martin is survived by his wife Mary, and his children Tony (Betty), Sylvia, and Mary-Lou. He also leaves behind his stepsons Theodore (Janet), David, and Ronald Soudant (Shauna), as well as his sisters Anne Marie Gootjes and Marie Louise. He was predeceased by his former wife Josephine, his parents Gijsbert and Catherina (van der Hurk), and his sister Dini Fillipini. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Verspeeten Cancer Clinic in memory of Martin. Messages of sympathy may be left in the guestbook on his memorial page.
