Maria Luise Von Ellm
Maria Luise Von Ellm, a resident of London, Ontario, passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on November 19, 1937, she is remembered by her family and friends. Maria was predeceased by her parents, Julius Strass and Maria, as well as her siblings: Robert Strass, Elizabeth Koshmann, Julius Strass, Rudolf Strass, and Gertrude Strass. She is survived by her husband, Bernd; her children, Sylvia, Ellm (Michael McKenna), Sandra, and Daniel; her grandchildren, Corey, Justin, Ellm-St. Croix, Maria, Liam, Ellm-McKenna, Katrina, and Ellm; and her great-grandchild, William (Ellm-St. Croix). Additionally, she is survived by her siblings, Rosa Rebmann (the late Erich Rebmann) and Richard Fritz (Marianne Fritz), along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, located at 362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6. A funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 PM at St. John the Divine Parish, 390 Base Line Rd W, London, ON N6J1W1. Burial will occur on the same day from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at St. Peter's Cemetery, 806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y4E1. Flowers are welcome.
