Maggie ROBINSON

Marguerite Hazel 'Maggie' Robinson passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at the age of 90, in Ingersoll, Ontario, with her daughter Lynne by her side. Born in Woodstock, Ontario, to Kathleen and Ervin Dempsey, Maggie spent her life dedicated to her family. She was a devoted military wife and mother of four children. Later, she worked as a cosmetician and pursued her passions for music and art. Maggie is survived by her daughters Deborah Robinson of Calgary and Lynne Robinson-Nimetz of London, her son Jeffrey Robinson of Toronto, and her brother Carmen Dempsey of Hafford, Saskatchewan. She is also survived by her grandchildren Emilee and Rebecca Nimetz, Andrew Nimetz, and Kess Dorney, as well as her great-grandchildren Raya Nimetz, Parker, and Brooke Dorney. Maggie was predeceased by her husband Donald 'Robbie' Robinson in 2014, her son Craig Robinson, and her grandson Ryan Nimetz. A service to celebrate Maggie's life will be held at Harris Funeral Home on August 28 at 2 p.m., with visitation from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
