Lynne Neaves

Lynne Neaves of London, Ontario, passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on August 5, 1944, Lynne was surrounded by family, friends, and community throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Butler and Ilene Butler, as well as her siblings: Jack Butler (late Ruth Ann), Stanley Butler, Steve Butler (Janice), Barbara Strasburg (late Mike), and Ruth Grant (Bob). Lynne is survived by her children, Faith Wellman (Phil), Scott Neaves (Marg), Todd Neaves, and Aaron Neaves (Sandra); her grandchildren, Charity, Beau, Matt (Jen), Hope (Adam), Bailey (Cole), Mackenzie (Parker), and Sharon (Rashid); and her great-grandchildren, Charissa, Brady, Hunter, Eddy, Samantha, Lyriq, Addalyn, Daeya, Brielle, Milla, Emee, Destiny, Desiree, Declan, Zoey, Janie, Zeke, Mila, and Max. She also leaves behind her great-great-grandchild, Timothy; her siblings, Sue Sparks (late Ron), Chuck Butler (Linda), Gary Butler (Cathy), and Debora Gore; and her close friends, Diane Handsor (late Marvin) and Shari Kinny. Additionally, Lynne is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Visitation took place on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at McKinlay Funeral Home, located at 459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6. A memorial service followed from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, with a funeral service commencing at 12:45 PM. Lynne was laid to rest at Maple Leaf Cemetery from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM. In memory of Lynne, donations to Diabetes Canada or the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent would be appreciated by the family.
