Linda (nee Williams) BONE

Linda Bone, nee Williams, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, at Victoria Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Cyril Bone and devoted mother of James Bone and his wife Karen, and Jerry Bone and his wife Leah. Linda was a doting grandmother of Kerry Duncan. She is also survived by her siblings, Janet Williams, Fred Williams and his wife Joyce, and David Williams and his wife Cindy, as well as her brother-in-law Robert Bone and his partner Kimmy Conner, and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Elmer Williams. Throughout her life, Linda enjoyed various hobbies, including archery, canoe tripping, and motorcycling. She was also an avid birder and butterfly conservancy enthusiast, and volunteered at the Men's Mission. Linda worked for 35 years at the University of Western Ontario's Science and Weldon Libraries. A visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on August 15, 2026, from 1-3 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for breast cancer research or a charity of one's choice.
