Laurel TORLOV

Laurel Virginia Torlov, née Lodge, of London and formerly of Goderich, passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the age of 86. She is lovingly remembered by her husband John Thorsen Torlov, brothers Jim Lodge and his wife Sheryl, and John Lodge, as well as her nieces Jennifer McGill and her husband Mike, Jael Lodge, and Ashley Rammeloo and her husband Dennis Schiffer. Laurel was also a great-aunt to Max McGill and Mackenzie Rammeloo. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Lene Smith, whose husband Tony predeceased her, and their daughter Lesley. Laurel had a long career as an Executive Secretary with John Labatt Ltd. and was a dedicated member of the May Court Club. The family extends special thanks to the staff at Victoria Hospital and Parkwood Institute for their care and concern for Laurel. Private funeral arrangements have been made, with cremation and interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
