Katharina Pakalnis

Katharina Pakalnis, born on May 3, 1930, passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 96. She is predeceased by her husband, Steve Pakalnis; her parents, Jakob and Katharina Staufenberger; her brother, Hans Staufenberger (Renate); and her brother-in-law, Paul Bartley (Elizabeth). Katharina is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Bartley; her children, Elizabeth Pakalnis, Angela Fleming, Regina Bell, and Peter Pakalnis (Dawn Whalls); her grandchildren, Steven Fleming (Joanna), Megan Netting (Caleb), Sarah Whelan, Charlie Pakalnis, and Karina Pakalnis; as well as her great-grandchildren, Jack, Cooper Fleming, Kensley, and Cole Netting. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a reception at 1:00 PM at Needham Funeral Home, located at 520 Dundas St, London, ON N6B1W6. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mission Services of London.
