John Prior

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Prior in London, Ontario, on October 24, 2026. John was predeceased by his siblings, Dorothy Williams (late Donnie), Gord (Marlene), Art, and Ronnie (Shirley); his brothers-in-law, Richard (late Carolyn) and Lawrence (Geraldine Shaffer); as well as his parents, Delmar Prior and Thelma Prior (Cornish). He is survived by his beloved wife, Doreen (Ulch); his sons, Johnny Prior (Mary Margaret) and Jason Prior (Katherine Miller); and his cherished grandchildren, Stirling, Audrey, and Bennett. John is also survived by his siblings, Verna Jones (late John), Norma Laidlaw (late Ken), Diane Riehl (Jim), and Bruce (Randi); along with his siblings-in-law, Leonard (Jackie), Kathleen Brown (Paul), Peggy Crooker (Chuck), Madonna McAdam (Phil White), and Marlene MacGinnis (Hughie). He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, located at 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S, London, ON N6P1P8. In his memory, donations may be made to the LHSC Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
