John Ellis Tindale

John Ellis Tindale passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 9, 2026, at the age of 79, at his home on Berford Lake, South Bruce Peninsula. Born in Cumbria, England in 1947, John's family later emigrated to London, Ontario, Canada, where he spent his formative years. He graduated from Huron College at the University of Western Ontario and went on to have a successful career in the insurance business. John was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn (nee Dust, 2021), and his parents, Kathleen (1997) and Geoffrey Tindale (2011). He is survived by his sister, Judith Tindale Finn (Lawrence) of Kitchener, Carolyn's brother, Gerry (Lise) Dust of Ottawa, and her sisters, Joyce Dust of London and Jacqueline Kenny (Norm) of London, along with their families. Cremation has taken place, and a small graveside gathering will be held. Details will be shared with close family and friends.
