John Cleary

The family of John Cleary announces his passing on October 14, 2026. John is remembered by family, friends, and others who shared time and connection. He was predeceased by his parents, John Cleary and Irene Cleary, and his brother Joseph Cleary. He is survived by his sister Mary Catherine Gillen; his children, Anne McDougall (Steve) and John Cleary; his daughter-in-law Ildiko Jurina Cleary; his grandchildren, Andrew Cleary (Brett Cleary), Natalie Banghart (Alexander Banghart), and Danielle McDougall (Tyler Haymes); and his great-grandchildren, James Banghart and Morgan Cleary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, located at 362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6. A funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Justin Martyr's Parish, located at 855 Jalna Blvd, London, ON N6E2S2. Burial took place on the same day from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Peter's Cemetery, located at 806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y4E1. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
