Joe LaPorte

Joe LaPorte, born on April 18, 1926, in Windsor, Ontario, passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 100. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Irene. Joe is survived by his children, Sharl Arnold (Fred Arnold) and Ken LaPorte (Kelly LaPorte), along with his grandchildren, Carlie Kramer (Dave Kramer), Ryan LaPorte (Taylor LaPorte), Amberley Arnold (Jamie Schmidt), Chris LaPorte, and Emily LaPorte. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Leighton Kramer, Molly Kramer, Carson LaPorte, Nash LaPorte, and Holden LaPorte. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, both at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, located at 362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory.
