Joan Elizabeth Whalley

Joan Elizabeth Whalley, of Valleyview Home, St. Thomas, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the age of 72. Born in North Bay, Ontario on September 8, 1953, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Bernice Gilbert. She will be fondly remembered by a number of extended family members and by her dear friends, Gail KleinHaart and Elizabeth Roberts, both of Port Stanley. In keeping with Joan's wishes, no public service will be held. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society – Southwest Partners, The Lung Association, or to the charity of one's choice. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas, was entrusted with arrangements.
