Jean E. (nee Buck) BLACKMAN

Jean E. (nee Buck) Blackman passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 100. She was reunited with her beloved husband Ronald E. Blackman, who predeceased her in 2005. Jean was the dear mother of Ron Blackman and his wife Fay of Penticton, BC, Bonnie Erdelac and her husband Wayne of Everton, Joan Nichol and her husband Robert of Ailsa Craig, Kathy Albrough and her husband Steve of Ingersoll, and Patti Rose and her husband Craig of Loring. She was also loved by her 12 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by her loving sisters Gerry Newman and Barb Johnson. The family is grateful to have shared her 100th birthday on June 17 and to have created more wonderful memories. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Southbridge Longterm Care Home, Dr. Crabbe, and NP Mona for their guidance and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date, with interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. Arrangements have been entrusted to A. Millard George Funeral Home.
