Jack Willemse

Jacobus "Jack" Petrus Johannes Maria Willemse passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 78. He was the devoted husband of Marietta Willemse (née Ossendryver) for 54 years and was close to his mother‑in‑law, Coleen Ossendryver. Jack is survived by his children James and Mary Jane (Coyne) and their grandchildren Cathleen, Ryan, and Joey; Steve and his children Wyatt, Emitt, Miah, Jesitt, Steeven, and Steevenson; and Brian and Stephanie (Rader) with grandchildren Sadie, Jacob, and Hudson. His siblings include Joanne (Joe) Soetemans, Sam (Anita) Willemse, Harry (Fran) Willemse, Casey (Annie) Willemse, Gera (Peter) Sanders, Mary (Joe) Strik, Tony (Berne) Willemse, and Corey (John) Van Gorp. He was predeceased by his brother John (the late Annie) Willemse and his sister Jeanie (Frank) Sanders. Jack is also remembered by his sisters‑in‑law and brothers‑in‑law Ellen (Al) Fuhr, Trudy (Don) Currah, Charlie (Lori) Ossendryver, and Cathy (Eric) Brebner, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A visitation will be held at Denning's of Parkhill on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at Sacred Heart Church in Parkhill on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a luncheon and reception at the North Middlesex Community Centre.
