Gordon Smith Tuck
Gordon Smith Tuck, of St. Thomas, passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 92, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital. He was the dearly loved husband of the late Audrey Rose Orson Tuck. Gordon is survived by his loved fatherhood legacy, including his late son John D. Tuck and his wife Linda, cherished grandchildren John Christopher Tuck and his wife Jen, and Vicky Lynn Tuck Cooper, as well as his great-grandchildren Melody Wilton, Jaxson, Amelyia, and Kaelan Tuck, and great-great-grandchild Duncan. He is also survived by his sister Betty Field and her husband Bob, and several nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his brother Robert Tuck and his wife Ruth. Born on June 6, 1934, in Ridgetown, to the late John Carlyle Tuck and Violet Kemp Tuck, Gordon was a devoted member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge #302, the Railway Museum, and Kettle Valley Pioneers. A private family graveside service will be held at Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery, with a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
