Erma Christena GIBBS

Erma Christena Gibbs passed away peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, May 25, 2026, at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late James Murray Gibbs. Erma was a loving mother of Sharon (Arnold) Sadler, Sheryl (Peter) Feagan, the late David (Colleen) Gilbert, and Susan Mattson. She was a proud grandmother of Jennifer, Jason, Abby, Sam, and Jerrica, predeceased by grandson Daniel, and a great-grandmother of Emily, Allie, Peter, Tom, Luke, Grace, Elly, Sullivan, and Hugo, and a great-great-grandmother of Drew. Erma was predeceased by her parents Lawson and Ila Harrison, her siblings Shirley (Lloyd) Durr, Lyle (Catherine) Harrison, Ray (Jean) Harrison, Peter (Marie) Harrison, and Vern (Margaret) Harrison. She is survived by her dear sister-in-law of Charles (Jean) Gibbs, Bill (Bettie) Gibbs, Carolyn Hunter Duvar, Robert (Marg) Gibbs and Joe (Linda) Gibbs, and dearly loved by her many nieces and nephews. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
