Eric Swales

Eric Swales passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by his loving wife Jennifer. Born on October 10, 1943, in England to Emma and Stanley Swales, Eric was the youngest of seven children. He met his wife Jennifer at a young age and they married in 1964, spending 65 years together and building a life in Canada after emigrating in 1965. Eric had a long career with Ford Motor Company in Talbotville, Ontario, working as a maintenance painter for over 35 years. He was also dedicated to his community, coaching with St Thomas Minor Soccer. Eric is survived by his wife Jennifer, daughter Lisa and son-in-law Raymond, son Grant and daughter-in-law Michelle, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his love of travel, having visited many countries around the world with his wife, and his devotion to his family and pets.
