David Glenn Durdle

David Glenn Durdle of St. Thomas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the age of 72. He was the dearly loved husband of Nancy Edison Durdle and loved father of Christopher and the late Patrick. David was a cherished grandfather of Alysha and Jacob. He is sadly missed by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Born in St. Thomas on January 3, 1954, David was the son of the late Doris McMunn and James Durdle. He worked as a trackman for Penn Central and Conrail, and also had his own backhoe business. A celebration of David's life will be announced at a later date. Cremation has taken place, with interment of ashes in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements were entrusted to Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas.
