David Borden Crawford

David Borden Crawford passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of the late Karen Ann (Hartwig) Crawford. David was the loved father of Kelly Crawford (Donna) and Jennifer Crawford (Gus), and cherished grandfather of Shyenne, Shayne, Devon, Brandon, and Dylan, and great-grandfather of Deliah, Carter, Jackson, Andre, Alexandro, Roselyn, and the late Benjamin. Born in St. Thomas on July 13, 1943, David was the son of the late James Crawford and Lenore (Donahue) Crawford. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a Sergeant with Elgin Regiment. David loved model trains, fishing, and boating, and spent much of his life in Long Point Bay and Pottahawk Point. He also enjoyed cruising back roads and was interested in War history, but above all, he loved his grandchildren. A celebration of David's life will be held at Ollee's Bar & Eatery in St. Thomas on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 4-6 p.m., with words of remembrance at 5 p.m. Cremation has taken place, and interment of ashes will be in Union Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners - Elgin Office. Williams Funeral Home in St. Thomas is entrusted with arrangements.
