Dale Kathleen Thorne

Dale Kathleen Thorne, born on November 23, 1943, passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 82. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ken Thorne, and her children, April (Stuart) Oberdeen, Ken (Elli) Thorne, and Lucy Thorne (Paul Nichols). Dale was a proud grandmother to Ayla (James) VanMeer, Kalli Thorne (Travis Stone), Safari Thorne, Sean Oberdeen, Madison Nichols, and Alyssa Nichols, and a great-grandmother to Mykel, Eastyn, Bentley, Blakely, and Maverick. She was the daughter of Chester and Lucy (Fitchett) Beecraft and sister to Hilda (late George) Sinclair, Chuck (Donna) Beecraft, Vi (late Wilf) Jackson, Carol (Barry) Schill, Lloyd (Lois) Beecraft, Stan (Wendy) Beecraft, Jim (Dianne) Beecraft, Bruce (Carol) Beecraft, Marian (Norton) Sims, and Colleen (late Rick) Hanke. Dale will be remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thorndale Community Centre, located at 265 Queen St, Thorndale, ON N0M2P0. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the London Humane Society in Dale's memory.
