Born on December 5, 1947, Catherine was deeply involved in many relationships throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Thelma MacDonald and John "Hamie" MacDonald. Catherine is survived by her significant other, David; her children, John-David, Stephanie, and Melissa; her grandchildren, Desiree and Kihanna; and her great-grandchildren, James and Brody.
