Bernice (née Armstrong) HARTWICK

Bernice Hartwick (née Armstrong) of London, ON, passed away at LHSC University Hospital on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie George Hartwick (2016) and dear mother of Wendy Nixon (late Roger) and Paul Hartwick. Bernice was a cherished grandmother of Nathan, Anisa, Travis, and Chris, and is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, Keith and Myles Armstrong, and her sister Audrey Currie. Born in Bervie, ON, on June 26, 1931, Bernice was a daughter of the late Oscar and Ella (née Harrison) Armstrong. She was a former employee of Simpsons/Sears/Bay and was instrumental in helping start the first food bank in London. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private interment will take place in South Park Cemetery, St. Thomas, with arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas.
