BARBARA NORTH WHITE
Barbara White, born on September 29, 1930, in South-East London, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, at the age of 95. She was a beloved mother, nana, auntie, and dear friend. Barbara grew up during WWII and married her beloved husband, Norman, on June 22, 1948. Together, they embarked on a new life in Toronto, where they raised their three children, Lynne, Marc, and Joanne. Known for her gentle spirit and generous heart, Barbara welcomed foster children into their home, providing comfort and belonging to many. A trailblazer for women, she was also an entrepreneur, a joyful choir singer, a talented writer, and a lifelong traveler. Barbara is lovingly remembered by her children, Lynne (Lawrence) and Marc (Joey); grandchildren, Marissa (Peter) and Nicole (Adam); and great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Tytan, Téa, and Zoe. She was predeceased by her husband Norman, her daughter Joanne, and her sister Marion (Paul). Donations to Alzheimers.ca in her memory would be appreciated.
