HENRY "HARRY" J. HODGE
Henry 'Harry' J. Hodge passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on June 4, 1933, in Allan's Island, Lamaline, Newfoundland, Harry was the beloved husband of June Hodge (McKelvey), cherished father of Alison, Jennifer, and David, and proud father-in-law to Owen Croft and Aki Hodge. He was a loving grandfather to Liam (deceased), Ryan, Caitlin, Shauna, and Dragon. Harry graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in geology. He began his career as a geologist at the Quemont mine in Noranda, Quebec, later becoming chief geologist at the Horne mine. Harry also founded several exploration companies, including Geocanex Ltd. and Moss Resources Inc. (TSX), and was a member of the September and Tuesday investment clubs. Harry is survived by his wife, June, his children, and their spouses, as well as his grandchildren. Predeceased by his grandson, Liam. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Drury Funeral Centre Ltd.
