Fabian M. ABEL

Fabian M. Abel passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the age of 63. He was the beloved husband of 30 years to Deborah Martin Abel. Fabian was the loving father of Tonia Teyo Hill, Jasinda Kastowi:io Martin Abel, and Mike Mkwa Raterennon:ni Martin Abel. He was the grandfather of Walker Thomas Hill and Haley, and the cherished Great-Papa of Lyla and Hazel. Fabian was the dear son of Joanne and the late Isaac Abel. He is survived by his siblings, Christine Samuel (deceased), Darlene Abel and Lou, Bonnie Abel, and Isaac Jr. Abel. Fabian was the son-in-law of the late Mintern and Janet Martin, and the brother-in-law of Michael and Cynthia Martin, Guy Martin, Diane Martin, and Janice and Mike Hill. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Cindy, Tracy, Nolenn, Erin, Alex, Rustin, James, Carla, Calvin (deceased), Brittney, Courtney, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Fabian will be remembered by his special friends, Jan Hill and Brock Bomberry. Resting at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th Line, Ohsweken, Fabian's family will receive visitors after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, with an Evening Service at 7 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 2 p.m., followed by cremation.
