Simon Andrew Bates

Simon Andrew Bates of Lindsay, Ontario, passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on July 28, 1942, Simon is remembered for the deep connections he forged throughout his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; sons Kevin (Sheri) and Steven (Amanda); and grandchildren Keegan (Melanie), Hunter (Maddy), and Zachary. He also leaves behind his brother Ian (Pam) and was predeceased by his brothers Brian (Peggy) and Neil (late Anne). Simon's legacy will live on in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
