John David Hilton

The family of John David Hilton of Lindsay, Ontario, announces his passing on September 5, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on March 12, 1949, John is fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his sons, Edward Wayne Hilton (Shelly Peeken) and Eric Paul Hilton (Adriana Iacobelli), as well as his grandchildren, Jameson and Ryan Hilton (Patricia Louise Hilton). John is also survived by his brother, James, and many friends and former coworkers. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Robertson. In honor of John's memory, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or the Alzheimer Society Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland & Haliburton. His warmth and thoughtfulness will be deeply missed, but his influence will remain in the hearts of those he touched.
