Jean Mary Allin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Mary Allin in Lindsay, Ontario, on September 20, 2026, at the age of 95. Jean Mary will be fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She was predeceased by her husband, Glenn Allin, and her brother, Gerald Robert Rainey (Darlene). Jean Mary is survived by her children, Shirley Schroter (Moe), Steven Allin (MaryAnn), and Nancy Karhu (Al). Visitation will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcastle United Church, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM. A burial will follow at Orono Cemetery from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, with a reception at the church from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In memory of Jean, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
