Carmel Kathleen Taaffe of Lindsay, Ontario, passed away on September 19, 2026. She was loved and cherished by her husband, Patrick Joseph Taaffe, and her sons, Robert Taaffe (Elicia) and Patrick Taaffe. Carmel was a devoted grandmother to Meaghan (Cole) and Liam. She is survived by her siblings: Robert (Eileen), Eamon (Maureen), Liam (Phyllis), Joan (Pat), Marie (Larry), Angela (Ted), Kay (Paeder), and Dolores (Paddy), along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Women's League Toronto, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, or SickKids Foundation, which would be greatly appreciated by the family.
