Murray Bruce HAMILTON

Murray Bruce Hamilton, a retired Captain of the Oshawa Fire Department, passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on December 4, 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Roberta Hamilton. Murray was the beloved father of Neil Hamilton (Carolyn), Jack Hamilton (Joanne), Joseph Hamilton (Maribeth), and Lisa Ireland (Mike). He was a cherished grandfather of Anthony (Marilyn), CoryLynn, Shannon (Omar), Tom, James, Shayne, Neil (Sarah), Connor (Amy), Michael (Tyler), Raymond, Kevin, and Dana, and a great-grandfather of Calla, Rayan, James, Graycie, Madison, Jaxson, Jayden, and Kyle. Murray was predeceased by his siblings Jack Hamilton and Beth O'Coin (the late Al). He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In keeping with Murray's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeland Funeral Centre in the spring. Donations in memory of Murray may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
