Frank Simone

Frank Simone died on August 22, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Donato Antonio and Lucia Simone; his sisters, Marietta Pietrangelo, Giazietta Simone of Italy, and Anna Pietrangelo of Amherstburg; and his in‑laws, Robert, Leo, Kay, Raymond, Roy and Irene. He is survived by his wife, Madge; his children, Dan "Donato" Simone (married to Deborah Gendreau), Linda Greenwood (married to Ryan), and Christina Simone (married to Lee Farley); as well as his siblings‑in‑law, Marvin, Kay Lesperance, Gary and Jackie Lesperance. Visitation took place at Families First, 585 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V 3W3, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A prayer service was held at the same location on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 225 Brock St, Amherstburg, ON N9V 2H3. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
