Andrea "Andy" Coppola

Andrea 'Andy' Francesco Coppola passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 81, at WRH-Met Campus, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted father of David and his wife Elise, and Michael and his wife Paula. Andrea was a much-loved Nonno to Christopher, Benjamin, Katelyn, Nate, and Maria. He is reunited with his loving wife and best friend Phyllis, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Andrea was predeceased by his parents Francesco and Crocifissa Coppola, and his in-laws Pietro and Connie Cianfarani. He is also survived by his siblings Pina and the late Filippo Monaco, and Bettina and Andrea Coppola, as well as his brother-in-law Tony and his wife Karen Cianfarani. Andrea and his wife Phyllis built their family home in 1972, where they often hosted family and friends. He worked in construction for most of his life, and was known for being a master builder and a compulsive perfectionist. Andrea enjoyed gardening and was generous with his fruits and vegetables, often sharing them with friends and family. The family would like to thank the staff at Met hospital, particularly the nurses and doctors in the ICU and oncology department, for their outstanding care. In lieu of flowers, donations to Erie Shores Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation will be held at Reid Funeral Home in Leamington, and a Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Michael's Parish, followed by entombment at Erie Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
