Richard Douglas Doner

Richard Douglas Doner, also known as Rick, passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 72. He was predeceased by his father, Paul, and his brother, Mark. Rick is survived by his mother, Doris; his siblings, Dale, Paula, Alan, and Barry; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. A Funeral Mass will be held on June 26th at St. Anne's Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rick's memory to One City Peterborough to support their housing and community work. The family extends their thanks to the teams at Extendicare Lakefield and the staff at Peterborough Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion during his last days.
