James "Jim" Arthur ALEXANDER

James 'Jim' Arthur Alexander passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of Erika Alexander and loving father of Peter Alexander and Andrea Lamont, and her husband Jason. Jim was the adored grandfather of William Alexander, Vanessa Duncan, and Hannah and Charlie Lamont. Born on October 10, 1944, to James and Josephine Alexander, Jim was the dear brother of AnnaLee Benjamin, Ralph Alexander, Patrice Alexander, Kevin Alexander, Marion Alexander, Jeff Alexander, Kathie Alexander, Marg Alexander, Christopher Alexander, and Heather Lynn Alexander. He was predeceased by his sisters Sharon Adams, Fran Cushnie, and Jacqueline Baker, and his brothers Michael Alexander and Gerald Alexander. Jim is fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, their spouses and children, and many cousins and friends. Jim served with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment from 1960 to 1970 and later established his own company, The Third Dimension, in the field of advertising and design. He also worked as a homebuilder, heritage consultant, cabinet maker, and restoration and preservation specialist, and collaborated with the federal and provincial governments on various projects, including the restoration of Fort George and the Canadian War Museum.
