April Joy Reid

April Joy Reid of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on April 11, 1942, she was predeceased by her husband, Duncan Paul Reid. April is survived by her children, James, Troy Hobbs, and Colleen Reid (Danny), along with her grandchildren, Andrew, Christine, and Gerry, and great-grandchildren, Dominyk, Adelyn, and Atticus. She is also remembered by her friend, Cathy Silverthorn, as well as her nephews and nieces. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM, both at Mackey Funeral Home, located at 33 Peel St, Lindsay, ON K9V3L9. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
