Albert Riemland

Albert Riemland of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his wife, Tina Riemland; his mother, Helene Riemland; siblings Waldemar Riemland, Victor Riemland, and Elsa Rempel; in-laws Heinrich and Katharina Pauls; and brothers Heinrich Pauls, Ed (Elisabeth Unruh), and Angelika Pauls. Albert is survived by his children, Walter Riemland (Karen), Elly Kelusky (Eric), Dory Riemland, and Tilly Riemland; grandchildren David Kelusky (Gaylen), Daniel Kelusky (Amber), Tracy Riemland, and Dayna Scavacini (Leo); great-grandchildren Leopold, Eleanor Kelusky, Elijah, Maya Kelusky, Ava Riemland, and Miles Scavacini; and sisters-in-law Katharine Riemland and Rita Pauls. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Niagara United Mennonite Church, followed by burial at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Mennonite Central Committee are appreciated.
