Vitor do Carmo

Vitor do Carmo passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 87, with his family by his side at Hospice Waterloo. He was the loving husband of Florinda do Carmo and cherished dad of Adelaide and her husband George, and Paula and her husband Angus. Vitor was also the cherished Avô of Michael and Justin. He is survived by his siblings, Gloria, José and his wife Cecilia, and Suzette, who was predeceased by her husband Guiseppe, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Portugal, Canada, and France. Vitor served his community as the president of the Kitchener Portuguese Club for 12 terms and held various other roles. His family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Donations to Multiple Sclerosis Canada would be appreciated by the family and may be made at the funeral home or online through the charity's website.
