Virginia Therese Irwin (nee Weiler)
Virginia Therese Irwin (nee Weiler) passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of Wilmer for 63 years. Virginia was the loving mother of Julie (Jeff), David, and Susan (Mike), cherished grandma of Jacqueline (Ben), Christina (Jason), Megan (Jack), Natalie, and Justin, and adoring great-grandma of Emmerson, Kellan, and Addalyn. She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Hilda (nee Strauss), and brother, Cliff. Virginia's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at St. Anthony Daniel Roman Catholic Church, 29 Midland Drive, Kitchener. Interment at Woodland Cemetery will be followed by a reception in the Parish Life Centre. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the WRHN Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
