Viktor REIMER

Viktor Reimer passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in 1939, he was a lifelong resident of Kitchener. Viktor was a devoted husband to Gundela (nee Block), whom he married over 62 years ago. He is also survived by his daughters, Manuela Reimer (Jeff Remmert), Annette Reimer (James Nadeau), Stephanie Rettinger, and Heike (Sean Walker), as well as his stepdaughter, Nancy (Greg Warwick). Viktor's grandchildren, Kennet, Ryan, Rachael, and Rose, will also deeply miss him. He is predeceased by his parents, David and Maria Reimer (nee Wiebe), and his brothers, Rudolph (the late Herta) Adolf, and Arthur. Viktor's family and friends will also remember his sisters-in-laws, Annie Reimer, Sharon Reimer, Liesel Block, Hannelore Block, Erika Block, and Traudi Braun, as well as his cousins, Linda and Hans, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada as expressions of sympathy.
