Terrence "Terry" Dale KENNEDY

Terrence 'Terry' Dale KENNEDY passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 79. Born in February 1947, Terry spent most of his life in Kitchener. He worked at land surveying until becoming a gas and water dispatcher for the City of Kitchener, retiring with over 30 years of service. A member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #50, Terry enjoyed playing darts for Barney's Magic, playing cards, and Yahtzee was a family favourite. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary-Ellen Kennedy (2007); his brother, Doug Kennedy (2019); his sister-in-law, Peggy Kennedy (2024); his parents, Clarence (1991) and Pearl (1989). Terry will be sorely missed by his daughters, Cherie May (Doug), Delanne Kuehl, and Kelli-Lynn Kennedy; sisters-in-law Annette Kuehl and Myrna Kuehl; niece Heather Kennedy; nephews Richard Kuehl, Bryan Kuehl; and great-nephew Kyle Pickering. Cherished Poppa to Cora (Jakeb), Cylie, Cassi, Claire, Cloe, and great-granddaughter Violet. Terry is survived by his loving partner of 10 years, Joan Capling. Cremation has taken place, and a family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society and the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind as expressions of sympathy.
