Susan SCHERTZER

Susan Schertzer passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 88. She will be deeply missed by her children, Annette Kagel, Renate Lipowitz, and their families, as well as her grandchildren, Michelle Lipowitz, Noah Lipowitz-Dunn, Hannah Lipowitz, Colin Lipowitz, and Joscelyne Vangent. Susan was predeceased by her parents, Andrew Schertzer and Anna Menyes. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Christopher and the hospice staff at the Cook Residence for their care and compassion. Relatives and friends will receive the family from 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, 243 Weber Street East, Kitchener.
